Spiritual Growth

Bible study can be a meaningful and engaging experience that fosters spiritual growth and understanding. The goal is to create an environment where participants feel accepted, loved, and empowered to connect with God's Word.

Simple Messages of Love: Focus on Bible stories that highlight God’s love and compassion, such as the Parable of the Lost Sheep or the story of Jesus healing the sick.

Group Prayer: Encourage group prayer that focuses on asking God for help, expressing gratitude, and thanking God for His love and care.

SUPPORT GROUP Community GUIDELINES

A Faith-Based Community for Families Navigating Autism

At Thrive at Life, we are committed to creating a Christ-centered, compassionate, and respectful environment where parents, caregivers, and family members can share openly and find support in their autism journey. Our goal is to walk alongside each other in love, encouragement, and prayer.

Our Guidelines for Gathering:

  1. Christ at the Center
This is a faith-based space. We begin and end with prayer, and we seek wisdom, grace, and comfort through God’s Word. We honor each person’s journey while grounding our support in Christian principles.

  2. One Voice at a Time
We listen with intention. Please allow others to speak without interruption. Let’s make space for everyone to be heard.

  3. Speak from the Heart
Share your own experiences and feelings using “I” statements. This is a place for encouragement, not advice-giving (unless asked).

  4. Confidentiality is Sacred
What is shared here, stays here. This is a safe space. Trust and discretion are essential for everyone to feel secure.

  5. Respect All Experiences
Every autism journey is unique. We embrace the diversity of neurodiverse learners and the challenges and victories that come with that.

  6. No Judgment Zone
We don’t criticize parenting styles, personal beliefs, or decisions. We offer grace, not guilt.

  7. Encouragement Over Fixing
Our role is to uplift, not solve. We trust that God is working in every family and every child.

  8. Faith-Inspired, Not Forced
While our support is rooted in faith, we welcome anyone seeking hope and support.

  9. Protect the Group’s Purpose
This is not a place for political debate, personal promotions, or unrelated topics. Let’s stay focused on the emotional, spiritual, and practical support.

  10. Celebrate Together
We honor wins—big and small—and speak life over one another and our children. Every step forward matters.
